Anaerobic-Aerobic Treatment System Boosts Efficiency in Potato Processing Wastewater Cleanup
A local potato chips factory tested a wastewater treatment system. They used different processes to clean the water, like anaerobic and aerobic treatments. The results showed that the system removed a high percentage of solids and pollutants from the water. However, the levels of some pollutants in the cleaned water were still too high. The researchers found some issues with the system that were causing this and suggested ways to fix them.
