The article predicts the average annual rainfall in Bangladesh using a geostatistical approach. They analyzed rainfall data from 246 stations and found a linear trend, which they removed to focus on the spatial variation. By comparing different models, they discovered that Ordinary Kriging with a Gaussian semivariogram model best predicts the rainfall patterns in Bangladesh.
