The goal of the study was to turn green waste into compost for landscaping. They used a simple box composting method, turning the materials once a week. Three types of compost were made from different green waste materials. The best compost was Compost C, made from grasses and leaves, which had a high Germination Index of 171% and a weight reduction of 52.5%. This shows that composting green waste can produce high-quality compost for plant growth.
