The article examines how efficient farms are in using resources before and after joining the EU. It focuses on farms growing cereals, grapes, and vegetables, analyzing factors affecting their economic success. The study uses a method called stochastic frontier production analysis to measure efficiency. The findings show that some farms are better at using resources effectively than others, and this can impact their competitiveness. By looking at both technical and allocative efficiency, the research helps identify ways for farms to improve their economic performance.
