Solid waste is a big problem in Balakong City, Selangor, Malaysia. A study was done to see how much waste is generated and what it's made of. They found that in a month, about 31,536.1 Kg of waste is produced in residential, shopping, and industrial areas. The waste is mostly organic (like food scraps), paper, plastic, glass, metal, and other stuff. This information helps create better ways to manage and recycle waste in the city.
