This study analyzed the flow characteristics of low-head weirs in small rivers in Korea to provide basic data for calculating discharge coefficients. They looked at slope-type and step-type weirs and found how changing the crest affects flow rates. They also developed curves showing the relationship between water level and flow rate. By changing hydraulic conditions, they studied the flow characteristics under free flow and submerged flow conditions.
