Aquaculture technologies like polyculture of carps, monoculture of short cycled fish species, and prawn seed production were tested in Jessore and Santahar, Bangladesh. In polyculture trials, stocking different fish species in ponds resulted in higher fish production in T3 compared to T1 and T2. Short cycled fish species trial showed higher production in T1 than T2. Backyard prawn hatchery technology in Santahar used bio-filter, rearing tank unit, and air blower for successful hatching and larval rearing.
