New eco-friendly briquettes from jathropa seed waste revolutionize energy production!
Jathropa seed waste, along with rice husks, can be used to make briquettes for alternative energy. By combining different ratios of jathropa seed waste and rice husks, researchers found that the best briquette was made from 80% rice husks and 20% husks of jathropa seed, with 10% binder content. This briquette had low moisture and volatile content, high carbon content, and a high calorific value.
