The study looked at how well scientific studies on treating adult high grade gliomas followed guidelines for reporting their methods and results. They found that over time, studies improved in quality, especially if they were published in journals with high impact factors or included more than 200 patients. Key factors associated with better reporting were the publication date, journal impact factor, and number of patients in the study.
