Lime soil stabilization boosts soil strength and durability for construction projects.
Lime is used to stabilize soil and improve its stability. A study looked at how lime affects acidic soil properties. They tested different lime levels on soil samples and found that adding lime reduces soil plasticity. The soil's strength increased with higher lime content, but its density decreased. The soil treated with lime showed improved strength and stability after seven days of curing. Lime-treated soil also had better performance in compaction tests.
