The article describes a model for managing supply chains, which are networks of organizations working together to improve material and information flows. The main goal is to show how companies in Croatia handle their supply chain strategies. The researchers break down supply chains into five activities: buying, making, moving, storing, and selling. These activities are like building blocks that make up the supply chain model. The researchers also provide a mathematical example to illustrate how this model works. The ultimate aim of a supply chain is to make customers happy by delivering goods quickly and cost-effectively.
