Forests' Fallen Leaves Could Solve Water Scarcity Crisis
The study looked at how different types of tree litter catch rainwater. Sal and teak tree litter caught more rain than chir, pine, and bamboo litter. The more litter there was, the more rain it caught. Also, less rain meant more water was caught by the litter.
