Anthropogenic global climate change is happening fast due to greenhouse gases from human activities like burning fossil fuels. Scientists have measured a warming imbalance caused by these gases. This is leading to rising sea levels, melting ice, climate refugees, and water shortages. To prevent disaster, we need to stop using fossil fuels and protect carbon sinks. Most conservative parties in industrialized countries agree on the urgency of this issue, except for the U.S. Republican Party.
