China's New Industrial Relations Regime: Transforming Working Conditions for Better
This paper gives an overview of how industrial relations and collective bargaining have evolved in China since the early 1990s. It looks at the political, economic, and social factors influencing these developments. The paper discusses the new legal framework, tripartism, employers' organizations, and recent union activities. It also examines efforts to improve working conditions through collective bargaining. The findings suggest that there have been significant changes in industrial relations in China over the past few decades.
