Climate change and human activities impacting runoff in SW China watershed.
The study looked at how climate change and human activities affect runoff in a karst watershed in Southwest China from 1984 to 2015. They used various methods to analyze the data and found that while runoff and precipitation didn't change much, evaporation decreased significantly. In the future, runoff and precipitation will decrease while evaporation will increase. Precipitation has a big impact on runoff, while evaporation's impact varies. Human activities have a smaller impact on runoff compared to climate factors. Overall, this study helps us understand the main factors influencing runoff in karst watersheds.
