The study tested different ways of managing rice straw and nitrogen levels to see how they affected rice production. The results showed that incorporating straw into the soil led to higher yields, but the differences were not significant. Increasing nitrogen fertilizer improved rice production, but too much nitrogen decreased its recovery by the plants. The way straw was managed did not affect nitrogen content in the plants or soil. Overall, incorporating straw into the soil and carefully managing nitrogen levels can help improve rice production.
