Women in Nigeria face challenges in achieving equal representation in politics despite their active involvement in the democratic process. By examining women's participation from 1999 to 2015, it was found that they are underrepresented in leadership positions. The study suggests that with increased awareness, a supportive environment, stronger political commitment, and better policies, women's political participation in Nigeria can significantly improve.
