The article explores the future of innovations in the wood processing industry in Slovakia. By interviewing representatives from 33 companies, the researchers found that technology innovations in processing coniferous timber will be key for future success. Small entrepreneurs expect minimal changes to meet standards, while larger companies envision a more significant restructuring of the industry.
