The Ohio River Bridges East End Crossing cable-stayed bridge was built using a unique design and construction approach. The bridge features a long steel composite structure supported by towers with a curved diamond shape. The construction process involved launching one span incrementally and building the other span on falsework simultaneously. The bridge is set to open in December 2017.
