A design support system was created to help designers work more efficiently and improve the quality of their designs. The system guides designers through the design process using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and provides them with design knowledge along the way. By using Java technology, the system allows for collaborative design work. This system helps designers shorten the time it takes to complete a design and increases the reliability of their work within the design cycle.
