Drip irrigation boosts root celery yields, could revolutionize crop production in water-scarce regions.
The study looked at how different amounts of water affected the amount of root celery grown using drip irrigation. They tested six different watering levels, from too much to none at all, in a field in Plovdiv. They found that giving too little water led to lower yields, but giving more water than needed actually increased the amount of celery grown. The researchers also calculated how much water was needed for the best results.
