Sustainable development in science education involves understanding how ecology, economy, and society are connected. It also includes biodiversity, energy resources, recycling, and a clean environment. Socioeconomic issues are important too. By looking at sustainable development from a teaching perspective, it was found to have a participatory democratic structure, which can help in decision-making processes.
