The study looked at how well the accounting environment in Iraq can work with international accounting standards. They used a questionnaire to find out if Iraq is ready for these global standards. The results show that Iraq's accounting setting is somewhat ready, but laws and procedures need improving for a full switch to international rules. The study suggests that Iraqi businesses and organizations should start using these global accounting standards.
