Internet Overload Leads to University Dropouts: Study Time Plummets.
The internet has made it easy to find information quickly, but it's also causing undergraduates to spend less time studying. Some students are even failing or dropping out of university because they spend too much time online. A study found that half of university students failed academically because they used the internet too much. Another survey showed that almost 300 undergraduates were addicted to the internet. This study looked at how internet use affects students' study time and found that it does have a big impact on how much time they spend studying.
