Successful ERP implementations can greatly benefit companies, but many have failed globally, wasting millions of dollars. To prevent such costly mistakes, lessons were learned from ERP implementations in an Australian natural resources company. Interviews with key participants revealed valuable insights, leading to the identification of ten tips in four categories (People, Strategy, Technology, Management) to guide future ERP projects and increase success rates.
