Researchers aimed to make atorvastatin dissolve better by mixing it with b-cyclodextrin. They found that the solubility of atorvastatin increased when the pH and b-CD concentration increased. Different methods of mixing the two substances were tested, and the freeze-dried method showed the best results. Tablets made with the complex had high solubility and dissolved quickly.
