Small sample sizes insufficient for accurate data in non-experimental studies.
The study determined the minimum sample sizes needed for MLR and ANCOVA in both experimental and non-experimental studies. By using real clinical data, it was found that a sample size of 300 or more is necessary to get accurate estimates in non-experimental surveys. Small sample sizes can work for MLR and ANCOVA when using r-squared as the effect size, but larger samples are needed for accurate results in clinical surveys.
