Data envelopment analysis is a method used to measure how efficient different decision-making units are. There are two main models, CCR and BCC, with other models being variations of these. One issue with the basic models is that they can't distinguish between equally efficient units. To solve this, super-efficiency can be used to rank the most efficient units.
