The European Union's policy towards Latin America has become more inconsistent over time due to bureaucratic politics. Factors like previous commitments, differing views among EU actors, and complex decision-making processes have led to this incoherence. Despite efforts to improve coordination, changes within the EU have affected its Latin America policy. This research sheds light on the evolution of EU-Latin American relations and contributes to the study of interregionalism and EU foreign policy-making.
