New model reveals key to successful IT projects and organizational learning!
The article discusses how to measure the success of IT projects in libraries and communicate this success to stakeholders. A new model is introduced that looks at project management process, outcomes, and contextual factors to determine project success. The model shows that project management alone is not enough for success, and other factors play a role. The study used a post-project evaluation of a Voyager merger project to demonstrate the model's application, showing that it can help organizations learn and improve future project success.
