Brinjal farmers can boost yields by 40% with optimal planting, irrigation, and fertilization.
The researchers studied how different planting densities, irrigation levels, and fertigation levels affect the growth and yield of brinjal plants. They found that planting density S3 (175-50x50cm) resulted in the highest fruit yield, while irrigation level I1 (100% of crop evapotranspiration) led to the best growth and yield. Additionally, fertigation level F1 (100% of recommended dose of fertilizer) through drip irrigation produced the highest fruit yield compared to F2 (80% of recommended dose of fertilizer).
