The researchers analyzed drinking water quality in Balasore, India by testing samples from 120 locations in different seasons. They looked at pH, Turbidity, Total dissolve solids, Total Hardness, Nitrate, Fluoride, Sulfate, Alkalinity, and Iron levels. Results showed that the water quality is generally good, but needs treatment before drinking due to high levels of Iron, Fluoride, Turbidity, Alkalinity, and Total Hardness.
