The study evaluated membrane filters at a drinking water plant in Sweden. They tested UF and NF filters to treat surface water. The filters reduced turbidity from 0.5 NTU to 0.05 NTU, showing improved removal of organic matter. Filtration before membrane use decreased fouling issues.
