The article explores possessive and genitive relationships in the Dahalik language, a type of Ethiosemitic language. The researchers compared these relationships in Dahalik with other Southern Semitic languages in Arabia and the Horn of Africa. Data was collected during fieldwork in Eritrea, specifically on the Dahlak Archipelago and in Massawa. The study highlights similarities between Dahalik and other Afrosemitic languages in the Southern Semitic group.
