In this article, scientists developed a new way to create a database of thermophysical properties using the Internet and personal computers. They suggest that scientists and researchers can work together to input data into this database. Each contributor manages their own data on their computer, following a set format. All the individual databases are combined into one big database online for global access. Even when data is combined, the original owner still has control and can make changes. The goal is to have a comprehensive database that is continually updated and accessible to everyone who needs it.
