Visual analytics is a useful method for studying complex systems. A recent study focused on analyzing multilayer networks, which are networks with multiple layers of connections. The researchers identified key tasks for visual analytics in these networks, considering their complex structures. This work will help develop better visual analytics techniques and systems for studying multilayer networks.
