Microfinance boosts entrepreneurial success for Sri Lankan women entrepreneurs.
The study looked at how microfinance services affect the success of women entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka. They focused on three types of financial services: microcredit, micro-savings, and micro-insurance. By surveying 464 women who use these services, they found that microcredit and micro-savings help women entrepreneurs succeed, but micro-insurance doesn't have the same impact. This information can help policymakers and microfinance institutions improve their services for women entrepreneurs in the future.
