Ukraine's Civil Society Key to Implementing Good Governance Principles
The article discusses how developing civil society in Ukraine can help improve governance. Good governance involves transparent, accountable, and effective decision-making. The study shows that involving civil society in decision-making leads to better quality decisions. However, Ukraine faces challenges like lack of resources for non-governmental organizations and low political literacy. To improve governance, the population needs to understand their rights and influence over authorities, and the government should see civil society as a partner. Privatizing social aspects and increasing public influence on government are also suggested solutions.
