This paper explores how Islamic banks in Kurdistan region of Iraq implement Sharia (Islamic) & Financial Control. The researchers investigated the impact of Islamic control on the efficiency and effectiveness of these banks. Through a questionnaire distributed to bankers, it was found that Islamic control does lead to increased efficiency.
