Extended social networks increase likelihood of university enrollment, study finds.
The type of people you know and hang out with can influence your chances of going to college. A study looked at how having friends in university and family connections to different jobs can make it more likely for you to go to university. The study found that having a wide network of family friends with different jobs can increase the chances of going to university. Also, having friends who are already in university can also make it more likely for you to go. However, there may be some issues with how they measured these influences.
