Researchers successfully developed a method to produce mature egg cells from early-stage follicles in goats. They cultured the follicles in a special solution for eight days, then matured the retrieved egg cells in different media for 27 hours. The best results were seen with a specific combination of growth factors in the maturation media. This study shows that adding certain substances to the maturation process can significantly improve the development of egg cells from early follicles in goats.
