The article discusses how digital manufacturing can improve the planning and execution of manufacturing processes. Engineers can virtually define, plan, create, monitor, and control production processes in a virtual environment before actual production begins. This allows for seamless continuation of processes with minimal interruption. Special models have been developed to consider all resources and parameters needed for different types of manufacturing processes, including large-scale production. These models can be easily tested with different input data during the training process.
