Exposure to Cadmium Nanoparticles Leads to Intensive Organ Accumulation in Rats
The study looked at how cadmium builds up in rats' organs after being exposed to cadmium chloride and cadmium sulphide nanoparticles of different sizes. They found that cadmium accumulated the most in the kidneys and liver, especially after exposure to cadmium sulphide nanoparticles. Larger nanoparticles led to more cadmium in the spleen, while cadmium chloride caused significant accumulation in the liver, heart, aorta, and brain.
