Aquinas' Epistemology Challenges Traditional Views on Knowledge and Representation.
The article examines Thomas Aquinas' Realistic Epistemology and challenges the idea that it is a form of Empirism or Aposteriorism. It argues against the views of Krąpiec and Swieżawski. Aquinas does not reject a priori knowledge, but rather has a theory of formal a priori. His Epistemology is not a version of Representationalism. Aquinas' theory of ideas is a correction of Augustine's and Platonism's views.
