The study looked at the types of trees in a Sahel ecosystem in North-East Nigeria to help with conservation efforts. They found a total of 174 trees, 8 species, and 14 families in the area. The biodiversity indices showed that the tree species richness, composition, and distribution in the environment are not in a good state.
