New Cotton Hybrids Boost Seed Yield and Plant Traits for Better Harvests!
The researchers studied how different cotton plant hybrids performed in terms of seed cotton yield and other traits. They created two hybrids by crossing four parent plants and planted them in a field. The hybrids DSMR10 x DRCR4 and DRGR2572 x M5 showed significant positive improvements in seed cotton yield, lint yield, plant height, number of bolls per plant, boll weight, and other traits compared to their parent plants.
