New algorithm enhances satellite image contrast for clearer, more detailed views.
A new method for enhancing satellite images has been developed. It uses a technique called Bi-Histogram Equalization to improve brightness and contrast without making the image too bright. By dividing the image into smaller parts based on intensity levels, the method ensures equal brightness in the input and output. This approach also reduces errors in brightness. The method was compared to other existing techniques and was found to produce better results in terms of image quality.
