The article examines how the Indian stock market is connected to other developed stock markets like Japan, UK, USA, and Hong Kong. They studied daily index returns from 2007 to 2016 to see if there is a long-term relationship between these markets. The results show that Indian stock market influences Japanese and Hong Kong markets, but is influenced by USA and UK markets. However, there is no long-term association between the Indian stock market and the other stock indices.
