Solar power revolutionizes energy access in Rajasthan village, changing lives forever.
The goal of the study was to design a solar photovoltaic system for a village in Rajasthan, India. The researchers calculated the size of the system needed based on the village's energy requirements, determining it to be 587.7 kW. They used a tool called PVGIS to analyze the performance of the system, both when connected to the grid and when operating independently. PVGIS was found to be a useful and reliable tool for this purpose.
