The study explores abusive game design and reflective gameplay in digital games. By analyzing game frames, it shows how players' experiences can be affected positively or negatively. Abusive game design challenges players and prompts them to rethink their perceptions of games. This approach offers new ways to enhance standard game designs and engage players in different ways.
